How we can help

SLLS provides services to the elderly on any civil legal problem.  Because of a special grant, SLLS serves the elderly regardless of income. 

How to get help

If you are elderly and have a legal problem, call the office nearest you to see if we can help. If you have any emergency, we will see you as soon as we can.  We ask that you call first if your problem is not an emergency.  When you come in, bring any and all papers you have about your problem. 

If you can't come in

If you are disabled or you cannot travel to one of our offices, call us to arrange a telephone intake interview.

Emergencies

You can lose important rights by waiting too long to get help.  If you have an emergency, such as a hearing or appeal deadline, call our nearest office and explain.  If you have an emergency and cannot reach us by phone, come to the nearest program office with all the papers about your problem
