Southeast Louisiana Legal Services News: > Consumer Advocacy Clinic Re-Opens

The Tulane Law School Community Service Program will re-open a Consumer Advocacy Clinic at New Orleans Legal Assistance in September 2007.  Tulane law students will work pro bono in the Consumer Advocacy Clinic on our clients' cases.

Our attorneys, Jay Welch and Marisa Katz, will supervise the Tulane law students on consumer, bankruptcy and construction fraud cases.

Thanks to Tulane Law School for its renewed support of this successful pro bono project at our offices. Our Consumer Advocacy Clinic was the first pro bono clinic ever established by Tulane Law School. Since 1988, Tulane law students have contributed more than 23,000 hours of service to our New Orleans Legal Assistance clinics.
