The American Bar Association Litigation and Anti-Trust Sections have each funded an attorney to work on disaster related legal problems at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services for the next year.
Southeast Louisiana Legal Services is pleased to announce that two experienced attorneys, Gregory Johnson and Becki Truscott have been hired with the American Bar Association donations.
Gregory Johnson is a 1996 graduate of Loyola Law School. Mr. Johnson has had extensive experience in disaster related legal aid as a contract attorney for the Louisiana State Bar Association's Disaster Hotline. He has probably talked with more Katrina victims than any other Louisiana attorney. Prior to his work with the Disaster Hotline and our office, Mr. Johnson was in private practice where he focused on family and employment law.
Becki Truscott is a 1999 graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School. Her prior legal career includes a nationally prominent multi-state practice in family law cases involving sexual, child and spouse abuse. Ms. Truscott also worked for a North Carolina legal aid program for 3 years.
Southeast Louisiana Legal Services thanks the American Bar Association Litigation and Anti-Trust Sections for making the hiring of these talented attorneys possible. |
