A new Model Answer to eviction lawsuits has been posted in the Evictions Self-Help section of LawHelp.org/la. It can be downloaded.

This Answer has most defenses to evictions in Louisiana. A tenant can check the boxes   next to the defenses in his case. Citations to the law are provided for many of the defenses.

The Answer also listed the various defenses that may be available to some Katrina and Rita victims.
