The 24th Judicial District Court has appointed Ruben Bailey, NOLAC Managing Attorney, as a Domestic Commissioner Judge.

Mr. Bailey has been the Managing Attorney for the Marrero office of NOLAC and SLLS for about 20 years. He has handled thousands of family law cases during his tenure at NOLAC and SLLS.

Mr. Bailey received the State Bar Association's Career Public Interest Award several years ago for his outstanding legal services work.

More than 40 NOLAC/SLLS attorneys, employees and board members have served as judges. We are proud that Ruben Bailey has joined this distinguished group of our alumni and wish him the best in his new career.
